Hunger Ride Success!!!

Thank you to everyone who came out today and donated canned goods at our Hunger Ride. There were over 200 riders and tons of canned goods!

20 Lucky people got Free Rock N Road Messenger bags. Bow won the $100 gift card to Rock N Road due to his large donation.


The weather was a bit on the warm side but the ride was fun and social.

Hunger Ride 2009

This is the third year, Rock N' Road will partner with Second Harvest Food Bank in order to collect canned goods for the homeless in Orange County. Every year this event gets bigger and bigger. Some cyclist are calling it the 'Social event of the year'.Come and join us on December 19th. Owner Matt Ford will be leading the ride at 8:00 a.m. From our Irvine location 6282 Irvine Blvd just off the tollway, arrive by 7:30. Team velosport will have a booth setup handing out pre-orders and taking in new sign ups. Motor tabs will be there handing out free samples and Specialized will be providing a limited number of their top of the line roval wheels for people to demo on the ride. There will also be a $100 Rock N Road gift card given to the person who donates the most canned goods on that day.There will be a post-ride breakfast compliments of

Chick Fil A, breakfast burritos, sausage and chicken sandwiches. MMMmmmThe ride will head counter clockwise through Santiago Canyon(approx. 33 miles). We will regroup twice on the ride.
