2011 Specialized Roubaix SL3 Unveiled with Very Special Feature
Specialized, the bike manufacturer, showed a sense of humor during their unveiling of the 2011 Roubaix SL3. This is the same frame that was used by Cancellara at Paris-Roubaix during the Spring, and which has the object of speculation regarding if it was motorized. Specialized displayed the new SL3 with a large Duracell battery mounted on the downtube.

The Arthritis Foundation's California Coast Classic Bicycle Tour
The Arthritis Foundation's California Coast Classic Bicycle Tour sponsored by Amgen is a spectacular 525-mile, 8-day tour from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Sun, rugged coasts, quiet beaches, lighthouses, giant forests, famous wineries and world-class cities are also daily travel experiences.
Leaving San Francisco as one group, Saturday, September 25, 2010, the tour shadows the coastline making the Pacific Ocean a familiar companion nearly every day of the ride.
Our Very own Randy W. from Irvine Rock N Road will be participating in this event.
Randy...
In the past year, I have been diagnosed with a form of degenerative Arthritis that is affecting my spine, shoulder blades, and hips. Simple things like sleeping without discomfort, putting on clothes, bending over to pick something up, and even sitting for long periods of time can be a chore for me.
The good news is that I can still exercise! I love to ride my bike and it is actually good for my joints and my condition. So I've decided to join with the Southern California Arthritis Foundation and ride 525 miles from San Fransisco to Los Angeles starting on September 25th.
